Artwork title : Abandoned Landscape

My artwork depicts an abandoned factory – a space that was once full of life, but over time has fallen into decay. Yet nature is gradually reclaiming the area: grass and flowers grow through the rusty metal and crumbling walls, symbolizing rebirth and a new life cycle.

This image directly connects to the concept of hidden landscapes: we are used to seeing industrial structures as lifeless, but from another perspective, they become part of a living ecosystem where nature slowly restores balance. It is not merely a depiction of decay, but a glimpse into the future – a new landscape in which past and present coexist and transform.

The work is created using linocut technique with embroidered elements on paper. The contrast between the hard industrial structure and the soft, living texture of the textile emphasizes the interplay between city and nature, past and future.
